Hiring for an experienced Network Services Manager to lead a team delivering critical network services in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This will be an initial 3-month Contract with a likely 12-month extension. This is a site-based role in Cambridge. Rates on offer are between £450 - £550 per day Inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of core services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, load balancing, URL redirects
- Manage multi-vendor platforms including BlueCat, Infoblox, Windows DNS/DHCP, HAProxy
- Ensure incident and service request responses meet agreed SLAs
- Provide technical leadership during major incidents and escalations
- Drive automation and efficiency using Python, Ansible, and APIs
- Own standards, capacity planning, and vendor relationships
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise DDI platforms
- Experience migrating DDI solutions (e.g. legacy to Infoblox)
- Knowledge of global, multi-region DNS/DHCP environments
- Proven network automation experience
- Leadership of geographically distributed teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
