We are working with a large company within the aerospace industry who is seeking a CAD Engineer in Denham. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for producing and maintaining product definition information (PDI), including 3D models, product manufacturing information (PMI), as well as detailed and assembly engineering drawings that are commercially viable, suitable for manufacturing, and free from ambiguity.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work within our Mechanical Engineering team.
  • Produce and maintain product definition information (PDI), including 3D models and product manufacturing information (PMI).
  • Generate detailed and assembly engineering drawings that are commercially viable and suitable for manufacture.
  • Involve effective workload planning, generation of BOM structures, change management activities, tolerance and mass analysis, and supporting design development.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to achieve the optimum design definition through consultation with all project stakeholders.
  • Work across and incorporate a wide range of products, support and testing equipment, textiles, and technologies, including mechanical components (machined and fabricated), electronic/electrical, pyrotechnics, mechanisms, and machines.
  • Help customers listen to their needs and guide them in how they can best support their product.
