Working on a major MOD project, you will be responsible for designing and governing scalable, secure, and resilient service architectures that support complex business and technical requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions while working alongside senior technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop end-to-end service architectures aligned with business objectives.
  • Define service design standards, governance, and architectural best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing IT services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver architectural solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that support long-term service strategy.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the service lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Service Architect within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and service integration.
  • Experience designing secure, highly available, and scalable IT services.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and architecture frameworks including TOGAF.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within secure or government environments is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, AWS, or Azure are advantageous.
