We're seeking an experienced Service Architect to join a high-profile Ministry of Defence (MOD) programme on a long-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering secure, resilient, and supportable services within a complex defence environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end service architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Produce service designs that meet operational, security, and supportability standards.
- Work closely with technical architects, engineering teams, service management, and stakeholders.
- Ensure service transition and operational readiness for new and enhanced services.
- Contribute to service governance, risk management, and continual service improvement.
- Create and maintain service design documentation, operating models, and support processes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Service Architect within complex enterprise or government environments.
- Strong understanding of IT service design and service management principles.
- Experience working on secure or defence-related programmes.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective service solutions.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory.
