Requirements:
- Proven Security Architecture experience within Defence, MOD, National Security or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of secure infrastructure, network and platform architectures.
- Experience with network segmentation and zoning.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS and boundary security controls.
- Experience with PKI, encryption and key management.
- Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM).
- Experience with Secure-by-Design principles.
- Experience with threat modelling and security risk assessment.
- Experience producing security architecture artefacts and supporting accreditation activities.
- Knowledge of NCSC guidance, JSP 440, Secure by Design and defence security standards.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, assurance and accreditation of highly secure infrastructure and network environments within a classified defence programme.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Define security architectures.
- Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments.
