Our client, a well-established and growing building services contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a range of high-profile commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation works (plumbing and heating systems, pipework, HVAC systems, plant rooms etc)
- Manage and coordinate site labour and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Monitor progress against programme
- Carry out quality inspections
- Liaise with other trades and client representatives
- Ensure materials and resources are available on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the building services sector.
- Strong background of running commercial projects.
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Mechanical and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
