Subcontract Manufacturing Manager to oversee subcontract manufacturing operations across a range of technically complex products.

Working closely with suppliers, production, engineering and supply chain teams, you’ll ensure materials and manufactured products are delivered on time while managing supplier performance and production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontract manufacturing activities.
  • Plan supplier capacity and production requirements.
  • Drive On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams.
  • Manage inventory, work in progress and production schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery issues.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to drive effective planning.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontract manufacturing partners.

About you

You’ll bring experience in

  • Manufacturing Planning or Supply Chain.
  • ERP/MRP systems (IFS desirable).
  • Supplier and subcontract management.
  • Electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Capacity planning.
  • Inventory management.
  • Production scheduling.
  • Lean Manufacturing principles.
