Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £78,000 + £6k car allowance, 10% DV allowance and 15% Bonus. Total package up to £103,500.
Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through DV clearance for this role.
Job Summary: You will be working for a leading IT and digital transformation organisation operating within the UK defence sector. Their mission is to build a more sustainable world through innovation and trust and are seeking a dynamic ITSM Delivery Lead to manage high-performing teams delivering end-to-end ITSM tooling solutions.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tooling Architect you will play a crucial role in ensuring continued delivery excellence in support of our customers' Digital Transformation priorities.
- You will work as part of an Agile team reporting into the Solution Owner to produce design documentation on a wide variety of ITSM tooling solutions which vary in size and complexity.
- Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective solutions.
- You will need to show others that you are an innovative individual who understands the requirements of technical design and deployment of IT systems in secure environments, and that you can deliver solutions of significant size and complexity.
Your transferable skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in the design, installation, configuration and customisation of various ITSM/ITIL/Service Desk Tooling technologies which should ideally include technologies from one or more of the following: CA Service Desk Manager, BMC Remedy, BMC Helix, ServiceNow.
- Extensive experience of working within the bounds of ITSM/ITOM/ITIL/eTOM processes, ideally, with accompanying certifications (e.g. ITIL v4 certified).
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling solutions for cloud, on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions.
- A working knowledge of general Information Technology Core infrastructure capabilities including: Windows Server technologies, Active Directory and Group Policies, SQL and SQL Server Clustering.
- General knowledge of Scripting, applications development and data manipulation techniques including: SQL Scripting, Powershell, JavaScript.
