Key Responsibilities:

  • To communicate effectively and create logical plans and documents from templates as client proposals.
  • To help gather, create or clarify requirement/scope to assist in the derivation of a solution.
  • To own the preparation of the changes requested from new until customer sign off.
  • To interface effectively with both internal teams, sub contractors and external customers as necessary.
  • To shape the proposal in terms of offering, price, timetable, 3rd party interactions and dependencies etc to achieve the best fit between the requirements of all stakeholders.
  • To be proactive in driving the proposal through the various internal Step reviews.

Required Skills:

  • The general ability using previous experience to think around any problems encountered, proactively contribute to any solution to overcome them, and manage proposal generation effectively.
  • Experience of developing SDM's.
  • Interpersonal skills are essential when working with the wider team obtaining estimates.
  • A commercial awareness when writing proposals is necessary.
  • Being able to clearly articulate a solution based on wider team inputs is essential.
  • Being able to multi-task when developing a number of proposals in parallel, re-prioritising when appropriate.
  • An understanding of timesheet bookings and the ability to manage budget/effort from the wider account contributing to the development of a proposal is necessary.
  • An understanding of change SLA's and how to manage client expectations is necessary.
