You will join a defence technology consultancy and design and develop modern, responsive Front End interfaces using React and TypeScript. In the role you will:
- Build Real Time, data driven features using technologies such as WebSockets or SignalR.
- Work closely with full stack engineers, architects, and end users to shape requirements and deliver best in class digital experiences.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of Front End architecture, ensuring scalability, usability, and maintainability.
- Integrate UI components with APIs, data stores, and existing Back End services.
Core Front End Skills:
- JavaScript (essential Front End programming language)
- Front End frameworks: React, Vue.js, or AngularJS
Useful/Modern Front End Engineering Skills:
- Node.js (for tooling, SSR, or full stack JavaScript)
- Understanding of web Servers/reverse proxies: Nginx or Caddy (helpful for deployment and performance)
- Experience with containerisation: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes (useful for modern development environments)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure (beneficial for Front End hosting, CI/CD, serverless)
- Basic Scripting: Bash or PowerShell (useful for automation and tooling)
