- DV cleared role - current active clearance is essential
- Sole British national only - due to the nature of the project
We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Dev Ops Engineer to join a high-profile defence programme, supporting the delivery and operation of secure, mission-critical infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer with strong Linux administration skills and a solid Dev Ops background, working within highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, automate and maintain secure Linux-based environments.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux Servers and associated services.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications.
- Work closely with infrastructure, software and security teams to deliver resilient platforms.
- Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance and availability.
Essential Skills
- Active DV Clearance.
- Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL/Cent OS/Ubuntu).
- Dev Ops tooling including Jenkins, Git, Git Lab or Azure Dev Ops.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Docker and Kubernetes/Open Shift.
- Bash and/or Python Scripting.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Knowledge of networking, system hardening and security best practices.
