- Lead and motivate the hospitality team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximise performance and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food and beverage service, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of products, menus, ingredients, and allergens.
- Manage stock control, including monthly stock takes, par levels, and ordering.
- Implement and maintain high standards of customer service, resolving issues professionally and working collaboratively with other departments to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health & safety, hygiene, and employment law.
- Manage the till system, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
- Actively problem-solve and use initiative to maintain excellent service standards.
- Take responsibility for staff management, including briefing, training, and development.
- Deputise for line manager when required and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Implement innovative ideas to enhance guest experience and contribute to the development of frontline teams.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Previous managerial experience in hospitality, with proven ability to manage functions for 200+ guests and facilitate restaurant service for 400+ guests
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills with a customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering exceptional service and problem-solving
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost control, quality assurance, and licensing laws
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
