CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Operations Manager on our AkzoNobel contract based in the Midlands/North of England.
About the Role
As a UK Operations Manager, you will oversee the team responsible for developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships.
This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization\’s goals and strategies.
What You\’ll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for partnerships. Negotiate agreements and contracts. Stay updated with industry trends and developments.
- Prepare and submit short and long-range plans and strategies to clients utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets. Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams on initiatives.
- Identify and address partnership challenges and issues. Track and report on key partnership performance and ROI.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
What You\’ll Need
Bachelor\’s Degree preferred with 5 – 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
