Senior Supply Chain Consultant

Role Purpose

Working within Consumer, Supply Chain & Talent Consulting, this role is pivotal in delivering a variety of supply chain and operational analysis for Occupier, Developer and Investor clients across a broad range of related projects, including network design, operational performance, location assessment and evaluation, and more.

Our team comprises a diverse mix of operational, consulting and analytical backgrounds, creating a powerful combination of skills, expertise and perspective, delivering unique, significant value for our clients at the interface of supply chain, operations and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leverage your existing experience to support project team with scoping project approaches
  2. Collecting, validating and using data to deliver informed recommendations and decisions
  3. Working across a variety of clients in different industries and sectors
  4. Playing a critical role in delivering supply chain and operations related projects as part of a project team
  5. Directly engaging with clients to capture client data and understand their business
  6. Ability and desire to learn how to apply new tools, techniques and methods in approaching client questions
  7. Play a team role in presenting the findings to clients, and internal stakeholders
  8. Working closely with clients and internal CBRE functions, to develop strong working relationships, trust and mutual opportunity
  9. Contributing to the development of team capability
  10. Become a supply chain advocate and champion internally

Person Specification/Requirements

  1. 2-3 years of internal or external supply chain consulting experience, with an aptitude for mathematics
  2. Enthusiastic about learning and passionate about your role; self-driven, organised, meticulous with a proactive mindset
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Experience of data manipulation, modelling and visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, ArcGIS, Power BI or similar) and database working (Alteryx, SQL or similar)
  6. An ability to think creatively and flexibly in approaching questions and reaching conclusions
  7. An ability to work independently while under pressure

Location:

  1. The role is London office-based with opportunity to work flexibly as well as frequent travel throughout UK and, potentially, some international requirements
  2. The role should expect client visits, regional offices, London and flexible location working
