People Business Partner
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CBRE’s People team as a lead People Business Partner – maternity cover. The role involves providing HR Business Partner support to the Corporate Functions teams in the UK&I and Central Europe. You will be part of the UK&I People team, reporting to the Senior Director, People Partner for Lines of Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the People strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders, aligning with global and local strategies.
- Offer expert HR advice and guidance to senior managers, managers, and employees.
- Provide guidance on policies and procedures, including managing employee relations caseloads.
- Utilize data and reporting to inform business decisions.
- Implement key People change and transformation programs, such as workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, engagement, and performance management.
- Collaborate with People Centres of Excellence to develop innovative solutions.
- Support wider CBRE projects and initiatives with People expertise.
- Manage 2 direct reports and oversee indirect management of Centres of Excellence.
Person Specification/Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent; Chartered CIPD status preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Experience in People Business Partnering with senior management in a generalist HR role.
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Proven track record in leading transformation and change initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with HR systems (preferably Peoplesoft).
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, autonomous working style and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent prioritization and task coordination abilities to meet deadlines.
