An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Business Partner to join CBRE's People team for a 12 - 15 months maternity cover. The role is to provide HR Business Partner support to our London Markets business, c.350 employees. You will work as part of the UK&I People team, reporting into the Senior People Partner for UK Markets.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver the People strategy for London Markets.
- Drive insights via data and reporting.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior managers, managers and employees.
- Provide commercial advice and guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures including ownership of employee relations caseload.
- Deliver key People change and transformation programmes, including workforce planning, restructuring, executive hiring, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
- Partner closely with People Centres of excellence to drive innovative people solutions.
- Provide People support to wider CBRE projects and initiatives.
- Matrix management/partnership with COE partners.
What you will need:
- Human resources degree or equivalent.
- Chartered status of the CIPD preferred.
- Experience of People Business Partnering with senior management in a generalist HR role supporting fee earning/broker business.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and matrixed organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations experience.
- Track record of leading transformation and change initiatives.
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and experience with HR systems (preferably Peoplesoft).
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive approach to work and ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
