The EMEA Payroll Platform Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering a multi-country payroll integration project across EMEA. This role will ensure seamless integration between the Core HR system (PeopleSoft) and local payroll systems. The successful candidate will attend project meetings, gather integration requirements, identify data gaps, and document local payroll processes. They will be responsible for understanding payroll integrations, writing and executing full User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for payroll interfaces, updating the project team, and ensuring go-live readiness.
What you will be doing
- Attend project meetings and act as the primary liaison between D&T and the delivery team.
- Gather and document integration requirements for payroll interfaces across multiple countries.
- Identify and analyse data gaps between PeopleSoft and local payroll systems.
- Document payroll processes to ensure compliance with SOX (Internal Audit) and local regulations.
- Write, execute, and complete full UAT for payroll interfaces, ensuring accuracy and acceptance.
- Provide regular updates to the project team and work independently as required.
- Support transformation initiatives and payroll vendor transitions.
- Conduct testing for system field mapping, upgrades, and new paycode creation.
- Provide training and documentation for payroll integration processes.
- Ensure go-live readiness and support post-implementation activities.
- Act as an escalation point for interface issues and assist with inflight payroll transformation projects.
What you will need to perform the role
- Experience working with payroll software (e.g., Dayforce, Mazars, Enova).
- Proven ability to coordinate and deliver interfaces between core HR systems and payroll vendors.
- Experience with any core HR platform (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle); PeopleSoft experience preferred.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills across multiple regions.
- Experience facilitating mapping, creating and validating logs, and error handling.
- Hands-on experience with interface field creation and testing file loads for accuracy.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
