The role: Plumbing Technician The Plumbing Technician supports the Technical Supervisor and/or Area Operations Manager (AOM) by providing a reactive and pre-planned maintenance service to building engineering systems and services at various sites in accordance with laid down procedures and safe working practices. To carry out maintenance, fault finding and repair on all systems as directed by the Technical Supervisor or the AOM. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plumbing Technician with an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and a strong background in commercial plumbing. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable team working on a wide range of commercial properties, delivering high-quality plumbing services across the BT estate. Key responsibilities are as follows: Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail units, and industrial facilities. Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete work to a high standard. Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and building regulations. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and team members. Undertake the Control of Works Authorised Person (AP) role and support identification of other relevant APs and Competent Persons (CPs) in cluster.Person Specification: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent. Proven experience in commercial plumbing environments. Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence (essential)
