Job Title: Workplace Host

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Workplace Experience Host to join the team located in Cheltenham.

Role Summary:

  1. Ownership of office floors and the surrounding areas to ensure the best workplace experience each day.
  2. Greet employees and announce clients, applicants, and visitors. Conduct guest registration through badging software. Arrange escorts as needed. Issue visitor passes and validate parking.
  3. Maintain a neat appearance of the reception area, conference rooms, cafeteria, and other common areas. Request building and housekeeping services as needed. Periodically inspect common area equipment to ensure good operating condition. Arrange equipment service as needed.
  4. Assist the Workplace Experience Team and CBRE community with general administrative support including mail services, event management, desk booking, bike locker management, etc. Request building and/or equipment services as needed.
  5. Assist with the CBRE community onboarding process, including new employee orientation, training, equipment and software ordering, workflow assistance, and welcoming procedures, as well as first-day orientation management.
  6. Collaborate with IT, Maintenance, Cleaning, Helpdesk teams to ensure issues are proactively reported and addressed in line with procedures.

Experience Required:

  1. A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience (e.g., Front Desk, Concierge, Hospitality, Room Management, or Customer Service roles) is preferred.
  2. Advanced communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  3. Experience in facilities management and/or dealing with suppliers/contractors is beneficial.
  4. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
