We\’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our maintenance team in Ascot on a commercial contract. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining plant, equipment, and building services across our client\’s sites.

About the Role:

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Identifying and managing risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving maintenance programs

* Providing electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department

* Writing and following risk assessments and ensuring safe and accurate completion of tasks

* Working on three-phase systems with voltages up to 440V and completing tasks on motors, gearboxes, valves, and other equipment

* Using mobile devices to accurately project and complete tasks from the CAFM maintenance system

* Liaising with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues

* Deputizing for the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness

* Working overtime, including nights and weekends, as required

* Performing ad-hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

* Recognized or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering

* Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance

* Electrical competences/qualifications to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition

* Mechanical competences/qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild\’s Mechanical

* Good multi-skilled ability

* Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters

* Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience

* NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical

* Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements

* Ability to understand and write permits
