CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Technician to join the team located in London.
To operate, maintain and manage mechanical and electrical building services across the site with minimal supervision. The role includes PPM delivery, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and supporting specialist contractors - ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with CBRE procedures and QHSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair and operate M&E plant, equipment, services and building fabric.
- Deliver PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory tasks to agreed timescales and standards.
- Diagnose and complete mechanical maintenance tasks (Mechanical bias; Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent required).
- Support electrical, HVAC, water systems and general building fabric tasks when needed.
- Update CAFM systems accurately, including task status, notes and compliance records.
- Ensure all work adheres to CBRE QHSE procedures, safe systems of work and site rules.
- Liaise with and oversee specialist contractors, ensuring proper induction and supervision.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and professional working environment at all times.
- Attend training, toolbox talks and team meetings to maintain skills and compliance.
- Carry out additional tasks or site support required by CBRE Management or the client.
Person Specification/Requirements
Education & Training
- Good standard of general education, with strong written and verbal English.
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent) - essential.
- Apprenticeship or NVQ/technical training in a building services discipline.
- Additional knowledge of electrical systems or building fabric is an advantage.
Experience
- Strong working knowledge of commercial mechanical systems, HVAC and water systems.
- Experience delivering PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance tasks.
- Understanding of lone-working rules and safe working processes.
- Awareness of risk assessments and H&S procedures.
