CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the team located in London.
To operate, maintain and manage electrical and mechanical building services across the site with minimal supervision. The role includes PPM delivery, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and supporting specialist contractors - ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with CBRE procedures and QHSE standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, repair and operate site electrical systems, plant, equipment and building services.
- Deliver PPM, reactive tasks and statutory inspections to compliance standards and deadlines.
- Diagnose and complete electrical maintenance tasks (Electrical bias; must hold a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent).
- Support mechanical, HVAC, water systems and general building fabric tasks when needed.
- Update CAFM systems with accurate task status, notes and compliance documentation.
- Follow CBRE QHSE procedures, ensuring safe systems of work and adherence to legislation.
- Liaise with, induct and supervise specialist contractors across electrical disciplines.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times.
- Participate in training, toolbox talks and technical development activities.
- Carry out additional duties or support work required by CBRE Management or the client.
Education & Training
- Good general education with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330, or equivalent).
- Apprenticeship or formal electrical training programme preferred.
- Additional knowledge of mechanical or building fabric trades beneficial.
Experience
- Strong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, distribution boards, lighting, containment and associated plant.
- Experience working on PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings.
- Understanding of safe electrical isolation procedures and permit-to-work processes.
- Good awareness of H&S practices and risk assessment requirements.
