Facilities Management Operatives will provide great customer service and will be instrumental in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the larger occupied sites run smoothly. They will liaise with employees and contractors and will take ownership and pride of their site.
Role Summary:
- Manage all aspects of internal and external post on site.
- Provide and record inductions for contractors and visitors on behalf of the client.
- Actively liaise with the wider CBRE team and contractors to ensure that reactive jobs are completed, often being the first point of contact for issue resolution.
- Undertake site inspections and raise issues or concerns with the Regional Manager, being proactive in ensuring that any faults are chased.
- Represent the Facilities Management function on site and be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service.
- Ensure that any concerns directed to them by staff regarding the building or services are escalated to the client team.
- Basic cleaning of kitchen and toilet areas (surfaces cleaned, consumables topped up, bins emptied).
- Minor fabric repairs, including but not limited to:
- Tightening loose door handles/catches.
- Tightening/replacing toilet seats.
- Tightening furniture fixings.
- Fitting/adjusting monitor arms.
- Replacing desktop fuses.
- Checking power supplies from sockets to desks.
- Checking distribution board breakers.
- Replacing lamps.
- Isolating water supplies.
- Unblocking toilets, sinks, urinals.
- Tightening waste fittings.
- Descaling drinks boilers.
