\\n\\n Job Title: Fabric Technician\\n \\n We are recruiting a Fabric Technician to join the team located in Central London.\\n \\n The Fabric Engineer / Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality fabric maintenance across the site, ensuring that all PPM tasks, KPIs and reactive jobs are completed to a high standard. The role includes painting and decorating, minor repairs, general building fabric upkeep, small remedial works and supporting the wider engineering team with maintaining a safe and well‑presented environment. You will act as a key point for day‑to‑day building upkeep while ensuring all tasks are completed through the CAFM system.\\n \\n Role Summary:\\n \\n As a CBRE Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for proactive and reactive building maintenance and repair services for client contracts.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.\\n\\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and ensure all KPIs, SLAs and compliance deadlines are met.\\nComplete minor fabric repairs including fixing broken fixtures, fittings, doors, locks, tiles and general building fabric issues.\\nUndertake painting and decorating duties such as touch‑ups, refreshing walls and maintaining overall site appearance.\\nDeliver small remedial works, basic carpentry, plaster patching, tightening/replacing components and general handyman‑style tasks.\\nMove, assemble, relocate or reconfigure office and site furniture when required.\\nRespond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, minimising disruption to the site.\\nMaintain tidy, safe and professional work areas, following all CBRE Health & Safety procedures.\\nLiaise with Engineers, Supervisors and the site team to ensure PPMs, KPIs and reactive works stay on track.\\nConduct regular building walkarounds to identify defects early and proactively raise/fix issues.\\nSupport the wider FM team with reasonable additional tasks to ensure smooth site operations.\\nUpdate and manage all work tasks through the CAFM system, ensuring accurate logging, status updates and completion notes.\\nFull JD can be provided upon application.\\n \\nExperience Required:\\n\\nExperience in a fabric, building maintenance, handyman or general FM repair role.\\nGood understanding of basic carpentry, decorating, minor repairs and general building maintenance.\\nFormal trade qualification in a building fabric discipline (e.g., Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, General Building Maintenance).\\nNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in a relevant trade (or equivalent experience).\\nAbility to work safely and follow all Health & Safety procedures.\\nStrong communication skills and ability to work well with clients and site teams.\\nConfident working independently and managing own workload.\\nGood organisational skills and attention to detail.\\nAbility to use or learn CAFM systems for logging and updating tasks
