As a CBRE Critical Services Technician, you will resolve and complete day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction targets and ensure completion in the time frame required. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You'll Do:
- Qualify and act as an appointed Authorized Person (AP) within 6 months from onboarding.
- Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed and outstanding items through the in-house system.
- Ensure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements.
- Participate in the critical services training program.
- Ensure effective communication with the client and management team is maintained.
- Operate as a team with other technicians by sharing expertise and experience to help resolve operational problems.
- Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team.
- Track and complete Critical Services Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide condition assessments of plant and equipment.
- Log and action all out-of-line situations with incident reports.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 Requirement for Electrical Installation (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition).
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
