The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Plumber who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.
Responsibilities
- Maintain domestic water systems to comply with the L8 standard.
- Carry out planned and routine maintenance on Heating & Air-conditioning plant to meet and exceed expectations and service level agreements.
- Rectify plant faults and defects swiftly to keep plant in serviceable order.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on other site plant as required.
- Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records using Frontline task sheets.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Develop a good working relationship with CBRE Managed Services staff and client staff.
- Provide a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with Company policies, client site policies, procedures and working arrangements.
- Present a professional image of CBRE Managed Services and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain professional and technical skills through commitment to personal development and lifelong learning.
Hours & Availability
Monday β Friday, 8:00 am β 4:30 pm. Overtime and weekend flexibility required. On-call schedule available.
Qualifications
- Experience of maintaining pumps, motors and valves.
- Experience of operating cooling towers.
- Domestic and commercial plumbing knowledge.
- Strong understanding and experience of health and safety obligations related to maintenance activities.
- Time-served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3.
- Basic IT skills.
