Join CBRE's Technical Events Team and play a key role in delivering world-class exhibitions and live events across our client estate. You'll install, test and maintain temporary mechanical and IT services that keep major events running smoothly, while developing specialist technical skills in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
The Role
As a Multiskilled Exhibition Installer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing and removal of temporary event services including water, waste, compressed air, gas, data and IT connections. Working closely with the Technical Events team, you'll help deliver exceptional experiences for exhibitors and visitors while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, test and remove temporary mechanical services including water, waste, compressed air and gas connections.
- Install, maintain, test and remove temporary IT and data services, including cabling and network connections.
- Prepare, deliver and recover equipment and materials required for events.
- Carry out quality checks, pressure testing, connectivity testing and snagging activities.
- Complete service records, test documentation and installation logs accurately.
- Respond promptly to service faults and exhibitor requests during live events.
- Follow health and safety procedures, method statements and risk assessments at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-moving environment. You will have:
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends.
- An FLT Licence and previous exhibition or event installation experience would be advantageous.
