The role: Multi Skilled Host
Acting as the heart of the office, our Hosts anticipate customer needs and provide a hassle-free workplace experience designed to make life easier and enhance wellbeing.
Hosts deliver people-focused, anticipatory services to create a cohesive workplace experience for building occupants and visitors, enhancing key moments throughout their working day.
They are the first point of contact when people enter the building, providing a warm welcome and being knowledgeable about the local area. They deliver a positive office experience, act as a liaison for building and housekeeping services, support colleagues with meeting room technology, organize engagement activities, ensure consumables are stocked, and reset the building daily. Larger locations may involve managing meetings and event spaces, assisting with bookings, catering, AV, and other activities to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering world-class Front of House services to welcome clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Planning and prioritizing work according to site needs.
- Conducting daily building walks to ensure tidiness and readiness.
- Acting as the face of the building, providing proactive solutions and assistance.
- Supporting colleague engagement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintaining up-to-date building communications.
- Managing requests via the Facilities Helpdesk within SLA.
- Engaging with service partners like housekeeping and security.
- Providing reception services and supporting meetings and events.
- Coordinating with the Engineering team to complete tasks within SLA.
- Promoting CBRE\’s core values.
- Providing portering and planning support.
- Monitoring building occupancy and utilization.
- Performing administrative duties as needed.
- Creating a positive environment for colleagues.
- Building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Being proactively visible in the building.
- Delivering site inductions to new colleagues and users.

Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.
