Who are we?

CBRE Group, Inc. is a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company and the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. We offer fully integrated, bespoke solutions for clients and can support all their real estate needs — helping them turn their real estate into real advantage. Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is a division of CBRE uniquely positioned to provide a complete set of services to corporate occupiers of commercial real estate across the world.

What we do?

GWS is redefining ‘workplace’ because we believe every place of work can become a competitive advantage for our clients. Productivity, reliability, engagement, quality, brand — the workplace contributes to business results, whether it’s an office, a retail outlet, a laboratory, a data centre, a manufacturing environment, or a virtual location.

What is the role?

Our two-year graduate programme offers hands-on experience within our dynamic Project Management teams that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in facilities management.

Key areas of focus:

  • Critical Engineering: Manage critical systems, including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, BMS upgrades, and electrical works.
  • Fit Out & Refurbishment: Deliver office fit-outs and refurbishments, creating modern workspaces.
  • Property Up Keep: Manage essential maintenance projects, including roof repairs, boiler replacements, AHU replacements, and more.

Your job duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out specific project tasks to support under the direction of your Manager.
  • Gaining insight into QHSE, Finance, Contract Management, and Sales support for the Project Management Business.
  • Learning the foundational processes and procedures of the business.
  • Developing tender packs, estimates, and writing proposals.
  • Understanding the wider CBRE business and its cross-selling opportunities.

As part of the programme, you will gain hands-on experience on a wide range of projects.

Training & Development:

Supported by a classroom-based Level 4 Associate Project Management, you will work towards your APM certification. Upon completion of the APM certification and once you have been offered a permanent role, there is the option for further accreditation/certification sponsorship.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for final year undergraduates or recent graduates with less than two years’ experience and a degree in Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related Engineering discipline.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a passion and/or interest in project management.
  • Understand principles of Project Management.

Candidates for the APM Apprenticeship Standard must not have an equivalent or higher qualification in Project Management. Generally, this would only apply if a degree in Project Management was already achieved, or the APM PMQ qualification or another IPMA Level D.

Candidates must have 3 years residency in the UK/EU. Candidates will be asked to provide their passport/residency/evidence of EU settled status and in some cases evidence they have been living in the UK/EU for the last 3 years.
