What is the role?
Our two-year graduate programme offers hands-on experience within our dynamic Project Management teams that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in facilities management.
Key areas of focus:
- Critical Engineering: Manage critical systems, including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, BMS upgrades, and electrical works.
- Fit Out & Refurbishment: Deliver office fit-outs and refurbishments, creating modern workspaces.
- Property Up Keep: Manage essential maintenance projects, including roof repairs, boiler replacements, AHU replacements, and more.
Your job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out specific project tasks to support under the direction of your Manager.
- Gaining insight into QHSE, Finance, Contract Management, and Sales support for the Project Management Business.
- Learning the foundational processes and procedures of the business.
- Developing tender packs, estimates, and writing proposals.
- Understanding the wider CBRE business and its cross-selling opportunities.
As part of the programme, you will gain hands-on experience on a wide range of projects.
Training & Development:
Supported by a classroom-based Level 4 Associate Project Management, you will work towards your APM certification. Upon completion of the APM certification and once you have been offered a permanent role, there is the option for further accreditation/certification sponsorship.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for final year undergraduates or recent graduates with less than two years’ experience and a degree in Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related Engineering discipline.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a passion and/or interest in project management.
- Understand principles of Project Management.
- Possess good communication and influencing skills.
- Possess good time management and organizational abilities.
- Are proactive with a can-do attitude and ability to use initiative.
- Are effective team players with a collaborative approach.
- Possess analytical skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Candidates for the APM Apprenticeship Standard must not have an equivalent or higher qualification in Project Management. Generally, this would only apply if a degree in Project Management was already achieved, or the APM PMQ qualification or another IPMA Level D.
Candidates must have 3 years residency in the UK/EU. Candidates will be asked to provide their passport/residency/evidence of EU settled status and in some cases evidence they have been living in the UK/EU for the last 3 years. Please note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for our graduate roles.
