Grade: Associate Director

The FP&A Manager reports to the CE FP&A Director. The role entails acting as the FP&A lead for a portfolio of countries across the region, assisting with the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, monthly flash forecast, ownership of quarterly BAS stats, business partnering with regional teams and gaining a detailed understanding of the monthly actuals. The role requires a good commercial outlook to facilitate understanding the drivers behind the numbers and to challenge where necessary. The key contacts for the role are in-country finance teams, CE FP&A Director, CE CFO, CE MD, Global FP&A team and Global Systems team. While primarily based in the London Office (Henrietta House) the role is hybrid with home-based working.
What you will be doing:
- Own the monthly flash forecast. Commentary and variance analysis to CE FP&A Director.
- Monthly P&L analysis and commentary on results. Delivery of analysis to CE FP&A Director.
- Assisting with quarterly full year forecast for CE
- Assisting with annual budget for CE. Including preparation of budget tool, development of regional guidance, collating input from CE countries, headcount and salary walks and production of budget review packs.
- Act as value-add business partner to in-country finance teams. Become go to regional contact for those teams.
- Frequent ad hoc analysis for a variety of stakeholders throughout the business and globally.
- Work with Global TM1 team in further developing budget and forecast tool.
- Liaise with controllership, tax, treasury, D&T, Corporate Development, FIO and legal teams when required.
- Ownership of quarterly and annual BAS stats for delivery to Global
- Ownership of monthly specialty (sector) data reporting to Global.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required (preparing reports, submitting actual results to Client IQ team for upload, stock comp distribution).
What you will need to apply:
- Qualified ACA/ICAS
- Strong analytical skills with good commercial awareness (property experience desirable). Demonstrates initiative and takes responsibility for commercial issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders up to Board level, including both writing and delivering presentations.
- Ability to work under significant time pressure and multitask.
- Have an eye for detail yet remain focused on big picture.
- Strong spreadsheet and financial systems skills (TM1 and Peoplesoft experience desirable).
- Degree educated.
