Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily walk round of site as Duty HV AP, to confirm healthy status of all plant and equipment.
  • Complete PPM of all electrical and mechanical systems to adhere to set engineering standards.
  • All in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act requirement with SFG20 guidance where applicable using site specific CAFM system to close out.
  • Undertake site inductions, ensure LOA or PTW is in place and RAMS of all visitors and sub-contractors, prior to any works taking place.
  • Undertake site escort duties where applicable to all site visitors.
  • Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
  • Respond to reactive installation works.
  • Respond to Emergency breakdowns and remedial works as required.
  • Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments.
  • Carry out weekly testing of all Safety Systems as directed. (Various testing out of hours as required)
  • Carry out plant room inspections and cleaning as per site schedule.
  • Assist with the monitoring of BMS Trend alarms for EMEA and APAC when BMS Operative unavailable.
  • Monitor energy consumption, record readings where applicable, be proactive in energy saving.
  • Adhere to all site safety and security procedures.
  • Carry out checks and inspections of electrical/mechanical services, plant and systems.
  • Carry out GVP weekly load readings taken and downloaded onto the Client Job Title Shift Technician drive.
  • Update the Client Job Title Shift Technician SDSK prior to any works taking place.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement to site, plant and equipment standards.
  • Provide appropriate holiday cover to the team to assist each engineer to take their full annual allowance.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Training M&E background essential with C&G or equivalent qualifications.
  • Apprenticeship preferred.
  • Current HV AP certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with HV, Water treatment, WAH, PTW, Risk assessment, LOTO, preferable.
