Job Purpose
Reporting into the Soft Services Supervisor. To work in an integral Waste and Lift and shift team. Taking the daily lead on the waste management to ensure contract compliance, ensuring all relevant documentation is managed and controlled to meet the CBRE audit requirements. This role centers on the daily completion of all scheduled SAP work orders for the service deliverables. The Operative will work as part of a small team, to ensure the prompt and efficient collection of Various waste streams, inc – paper, plastic, cardboard, glass, DMR, WEE, from identified collection points around site.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07.30 to 16.30 Mon - Thu
- 07:30 to 13:30 on Fridays.
Key Tasks
- Collection of all relevant waste - Processing of the recyclables collected at B25 waste yard
- Prompt completion of SAP generated tasks assigned within completion dates.
- Collection and separation of designated waste – WEE. DMR, FOOD, WOOD, METAL. GENERAL etc…
- Loading of the site compactor
- Housekeeping and cleaning duties at B25 waste yard
- Support the supervisor to manage the 03rd party waste contractors for all collections, skip movements and WEE / Haz waste collections.
- Upkeep of all related documentation on the J and U drive, updating the spreadsheets and controlling the compliance paperwork for the quarterly waste reports. Any other related duties.
- Responsible for the B25 waste yard controlling, housekeeping, all skip and Compactor movement.
- Other duties such as the completion of reactive Concept tasks will be expected daily.
Role Requirements
- UK Driving licence
- FLT advantageous but not needed
- Good attitude & customer service skills
