We are seeking a Senior Managing Director, Enterprise Occupier Solutions, to lead our EMEA and APAC sales team and to play a lead role in the success of our global sales program. In partnership with Enterprise and Sector leadership, this leader will be responsible for formulating and implementing business development strategies based on the business strategy and targets. The Senior Managing Director, Enterprise Occupier Solutions, will lead business development programs and initiatives and be accountable for the deliverables and outcomes. This role will be responsible for win, keep, and grow activities in integrated Real Estate and Facilities Management outsourcing pursuits, and will lead client-facing interactions in large, regional, and global pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
Primary Areas of Focus:
- Lead our EMEA and APAC Sales & Solutions team with accountability for the regional sales targets.
- Directly lead a selection of new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of each occupier service offering, platform, and value proposition, broader CBRE service lines, and the Real Estate and Facilities industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement business development strategies in partnership with Enterprise leadership; lead programs with clear deliverables and outcomes.
- Lead the performance of the EMEA and APAC team, including direct and indirect reports.
- Manage win, keep, and grow activities in outsourcing pursuits.
- Identify opportunities, lead pursuit strategies, and manage execution including proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
- Coach and support the team throughout the sales process.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers across organizational levels.
- Lead client interactions in regional and global pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
- Ensure the sales team understands and applies knowledge of CBRE service offerings and value propositions.
- Oversee sales activities from qualification to negotiation.
- Stay informed on industry trends and share insights with the team.
- Set and achieve financial and operational objectives and KPIs.
- Develop strategies for client retention and acquisition, emphasizing value as 'expert advisors.'
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in complex solutions sales or consulting; experience in commercial Real Estate or outsourcing preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 7-10+ years in finance, consulting, or analytics, with at least 7 years in business development related to outsourcing solutions.
- Leadership experience managing teams in a matrix environment.
- Relevant professional licenses preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
