We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team based in Glasgow.The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment, and Building Services.Role Summary: Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving machinery performance, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.Utilize new equipment and technologies to maintain a productive environment, liaising with the client regarding machinery PPMs.Fault finding on all types of machinery.Support health and safety initiatives within the department.Provide electrical and mechanical expertise working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.Write and follow risk assessments, addressing issues safely and accurately.Complete documentation in accordance with rules and legislation.Work on three-phase systems up to 440V.Maintain motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Use mobile devices for project management and work completion via the CAFM system.Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools.Liaise with onsite site services to resolve building service issues.Act as the responsible person for the department when required and deputize for the shift leader during leave or sickness.Work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.Perform ad hoc duties as required.Experience Required: Recognized or time-served apprenticeship.Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.Electrical qualifications, such as City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 and 17th Edition.Mechanical qualifications to an acceptable standard.Multiskilled capabilities.Experience with three-phase motors, drives, and inverters.Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.Fault finding skills.PLC diagnostics and repair skills.NVQ Level 2 in Electrical and Mechanical.Ability to supervise contractors.Ability to write risk and method statements, and understand permits.Desirable Qualifications: Working at height qualification.IPAF certification.AP qualifications.Experience in heavy engineering.
