Job Role: Assistant Energy Manager
Reporting to: Account Director
Location: Liverpool
Job Purpose:
As an Assistant Energy Manager, you\’ll be a key player in helping our clients reduce their energy use, lower their environmental impact, and save money. You\’ll work with a team to identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and track progress.
Role Summary:
Identify Savings: Find ways to make buildings more energy-efficient through audits and analysis.
Make a Plan: Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy and water consumption, CO2 emissions, and costs.
Get the Job Done: Help put those plans into action, working with our team and clients.
Track Results: Monitor and report on energy use and savings.
Educate and Inspire: Help train and motivate people to be more energy-conscious.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on energy market trends and sustainability best practices.
Communicate: Share ideas and results with the team and clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits to find areas for improvement in client sites.
- Help develop projects to improve energy efficiency.
- Track and report on energy use and carbon emissions.
- Train and motivate people to be more energy-conscious.
- Develop and share best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on energy and sustainability trends.
- Support client\’s social and environmental goals.
Person Specifications:
- A degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, engineering).
- Relevant certifications (or working towards them) in energy efficiency.
- Some experience in energy management and sustainability.
- You\’re a problem-solver – you can analyse data, identify opportunities, and find creative solutions.
- You\’re a communicator – you can explain complex information clearly and effectively.
