CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Housekeeper.

Location: Private Property, Rutland (near Melton Mowbray)

Hours: 8-10 hours per week (flexibility required during periods of occupation; overtime available)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a private property in Rutland to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The successful candidate will ensure the home is ready for occupation at all times, carrying out all aspects of housekeeping and cleaning with professionalism and care. The role could be carried out when the house is unoccupied, so the successful candidate must be comfortable working alone.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform general cleaning duties throughout the property, including hoovering, dusting, mopping floors, emptying bins, and cleaning internal and low-level windows.
  • Make beds, change bedding, and ensure all linens are clean and neatly presented.
  • Manage household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away items.
  • Wash and tidy kitchenware (plates, mugs, utensils, etc.) and maintain a clean kitchen area.
  • Conduct weekly flushing of water outlets and monthly temperature checks to ensure water safety compliance.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or shortages promptly.
  • Work to a flexible rota/shift pattern of 8-10 hours per week, with potential for additional hours during busier periods (paid overtime).
  • Support seasonal or occasional deep cleans as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is desirable.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours/days depending on property occupation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Excellent time-keeping and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and respectful of the private working environment.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude and confidentiality are essential.

  • The property is a private dwelling located outside of Oakham; therefore, access to reliable transportation is essential.
  • Seasonal overtime opportunities may be available in addition to standard weekly hours.
