We are recruiting a Facilities Assistant to join the team located in Syngenta, Whittlesford, with the requirement to be flexible to travel to the Granta Park office in Cambridge. The successful candidate will need a can-do attitude and be responsible for being the face of CBRE and Syngenta for the day-to-day facilities operations of the site ensuring an exceptional customer service experience, whilst also being the point of contact for the site key stakeholders. You will also provide preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in an efficient and timely manner to ensure minimum disruption to building and to ensure all site QHSE rules and regulations are adhered to at all times at our client's sites. Supervise, guide and direct preferred suppliers and monitor performance of their assigned responsibilities. Ensure that work performed in these areas are accomplished efficiently and with minimal disruption and inconvenience to the smooth running of the site. Be the first point of contact for the key stakeholders on site. Ensure exceptional customer service experience whilst also managing all preferred suppliers. Be the point of contact for all site visitors and suppliers. Ownership to ensure site is always kept clean and tidy, both internally and externally. Undertake planned maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections on equipment issued via the CAFM system· Undertake repair and reactive minor works associated with the installed services, building fabric and any relevant tasks to their job designation and report all faults back to the help desk. Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment.· Ensure that all work areas are left in a clean and tidy condition during work and that minimal disruption to the client is maintained. · Provide information to assist in the compilation of additional works quotations. Carry out personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities. Maintain and review stock levels, spares requirement through audit and timely ordering of parts Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with CBRE site Health & Safety procedures Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Complete Syngenta and CBRE site inductions for staff and contractors Ensure Authority to Work (ATW) are issued. Inputting and management of the Hazard reporting. Assist with carrying out Contractor Review (OP63) Assist with carrying out site reviews including building Inspections (OP61) Sub-Contractor logbook management- ensuring all documentation is current and up to date.
