We are recruiting a Critical Services Supervisor position to join the team located in London. The Critical Services Supervisor will be joining our dynamic team supporting a major refurbishment of our client\’s EMEA headquarters located in Canary Wharf. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a critical phase in the project, witnessing the commissioning process and contributing to the building\’s mobilization. You will play a vital role in the transformation of this landmark tower, which will become a state-of-the-art workplace designed for the future. This project emphasizes cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and the highest standards of environmental design, featuring flexible workspaces, collaboration zones, and dedicated wellness areas About the Role: As a CBRE Critical Services Supervisor, you will oversee the team that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. Responsibilities: Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team. Review work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion. Attend installation, commissioning, and fit-out events to ensure compliance with the agreed design, the client\’s standards, and statutory requirements. Update the site commissioning tracker on a daily basis. Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel, and technicians. Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. Must remain current with the latest technology trends Ensure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements. Seek out new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones. Assist with the development of critical services training programs. Point of contact for client and management escalation. Share expertise and industry experience with the team to help resolve operational problems. Assist at all stages of commissioning, witnessing, snagging and handover of all new facilities, systems, and assets to client. Evaluate Planned Preventative Maintenance assessments of plant and equipment and make recommendations on improvements and upgrades. Confirm all out-of-line situations are documented with incident reports. Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams. Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus. Raise changes on the client Change Management system and obtain client & operational stakeholder approvals, adhering to client Change Management and critical space security control policies. Raise quotations through the company ABQ process. Role Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 Requirement for Electrical Installation (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition). Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required. Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset. A good understanding & competency of all building services PLC systems, critical cooling systems, water treatment, refrigeration systems and HV/LV electrical infrastructure Good verbal & written communication skills. Exceptional IT skills. Previous LV/HV authorized person experience desired.
