CBO is looking for a skilled Business Analyst (Associate) to support one of our Jersey-based client teams. Working as part of a CBO-led team, this role focuses on requirements definition and process mapping, contributing to the successful delivery of high-value transformation initiatives. We are seeking someone who is available to start as soon as possible, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a contractor/associate engagement, not a permanent role.
As a Business Analyst working with CBO, you will bring structure to complex problems and help clients translate their goals into clearly defined solutions.
- Work closely with client and CBO team members to understand business objectives and current-state processes
- Lead or contribute to the development of clear, well-structured process maps and functional requirements
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to capture insights, validate understanding, and ensure alignment
- Support the design of improved processes, ensuring they are scalable, well-documented, and aligned to delivery goals
- Contribute to CBO's reputation for quality and reliability in client delivery
This engagement offers an opportunity to work across critical workstreams and gain exposure to business and technology change, while being embedded in a supportive team that shares best practice and delivers with quality.
We are looking for experienced Business Analysts who can bring structure to ambiguity, work confidently as part of a consulting team, and contribute to fast-paced client delivery.
You must have:
- Based in Jersey with the right to work locally
- Immediate availability or short notice period
- Demonstrable experience in requirements definition and business process mapping
- Confidence working with stakeholders to define, document, and validate functional requirements
- Strong analytical skills, with a structured and methodical approach
- Experience supporting change initiatives through clear documentation, process review, and collaboration with delivery teams
- Excellent communication skills across written and verbal formats able to facilitate workshops, summarise complex issues, and build trusted relationships quickly
- A consulting mindset: confident working with direction but independently able to manage tasks, priorities, and stakeholder expectations
Desired:
- Previous experience working with or within consultancy firms
- Experience in both Public and Private Sector environments
- An understanding of how business analysis contributes to solution design and implementation
