CBM Aggregates is seeking a Rock Truck & Plant Operator, based in Sunderland. This position is a permanent full-time vacancy. Hourly rate: $28.20 - $29.70

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and foster our safety culture by performing pre-use inspections, hazard and near miss reports, and committing to working safely always.
  • Operate a Rock Truck, various hand tools, and other types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Training is provided!
  • Perform maintenance on plant equipment as needed, including changing screens, greasing, moving equipment etc.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and positive attitude towards colleagues, contractors, and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Motivated with a willingness to learn and be challenged.
  • Able to learn on-the-job and receive regular training.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts – current hours are 5pm – 5am.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Ontario drivers’ license.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the location (not accessible by public transit).
  • OSSGD or equivalent.
