About The Role

We are currently recruiting Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Welsh-medium and bilingual schools in Anglesey. This is a fantastic opportunity for fluent Welsh speakers who are passionate about supporting children's learning and want the flexibility of supply work. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain experience in education, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils' learning in Welsh, both in groups and one-to-one
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Promote the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day
  • Adapt to different school settings and year groups as required
  • Help maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written) is essential
  • Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Flexibility and reliability to work on a supply basis
  • Enthusiastic, caring, and proactive attitude
  • A commitment to supporting children's educational and emotional development
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
