Supply Primary Teacher

Location: Bangor, Gwynedd

Salary: £172.98 per day (inline with current Welsh teacher pay rates)

Job type: Supply (Temporary) – Day‑to‑Day, Short‑Term & Long‑Term roles

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), supply teaching offers a flexible and rewarding opportunity to work in a variety of school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different abilities and learning styles
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student development
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in primary settings (UK curriculum)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
