CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Controller.

Position Summary: The Controller will be responsible for transforming and professionalizing the finance function while overseeing accounting operations and internal controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis that supports strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting function
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead and upgrade financial operations, including implementing best practices for percentage of completion (POC) accounting in accordance with GAAP

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction or project-based industry with strong knowledge of percentage of completion (POC) accounting is required
  • Data-driven with knowledge of PE reporting requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience with QuickBooks financial reporting software is strongly preferred
