Community Nurse (RN/RPN) caring for clients across home, schools and community settings. Apply clinical skills in wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, pediatric care, tube feeding and medication administration, providing health teaching and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

What you will do: Every day will be different. Apply clinical skills in wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, pediatric care, tube feeding, medication administration and health teaching. Provide person and family‑centered care, facilitate collaborative interdisciplinary care, navigate clients to resources, and maintain communication with managers and peers.

Requirements

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • Professional liability insurance (WeRPN/RNAO)
  • Valid CPR & First Aid certificate
  • Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening results within the past 12 months
  • Proof of negative TB test and professional liability insurance
  • Ability to travel independently within the community
  • A valid driver’s license (G2/G) and vehicle insurance
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills; bilingual in French is an asset
  • Palliative training and pediatric experience are considered assets
