The Contracts and Procurement Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of contracts and procurement activities across assigned projects and operational assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client requirements, and Company governance standards. The role provides strategic leadership and hands-on execution across the full supply chain lifecycle, including subcontracting, procurement of goods and services, and post-award contract management.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the role ensures that all sourcing, contracting, and supply chain activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in a cost-effective manner, supporting both tendering and operational execution. The position is accountable for leading multi-disciplinary teams and driving performance across subcontracting, procurement, expediting, and materials management functions.

  • Lead and manage integrated Contracts and Procurement teams, ensuring effective delivery across subcontracting, procurement, expediting, and materials functions.
  • Promote a performance-driven culture focused on delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement and manage Contracts and Procurement strategies aligned with project and operational objectives.
  • Manage tendering activities through development of supply chain strategies, resource planning, and cost input.
  • Manage and lead the preparation of strategy papers and sourcing plans with clear commercial justification.
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery from requirement definition through to contract close-out, including:
    • Tendering and commercial evaluation
    • Post-award contract and order management
  • Ensure procurement of materials and services is executed in a cost-effective and timely manner, aligned with Company procedures.
  • Lead commercial evaluations and recommendations for award.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Ensuring the correct use of Supply Chain systems for implementing procurement, expediting and material control, i.e. SAP, ORACLE, MODS, etc.
  • Manage post-award activities including variations, claims, expediting, invoicing issues, and close-out.
  • Drive subcontractor and supplier performance management, including formal reviews and improvement plans.
  • Lead resolution of disputes and claims in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
  • Ensure full compliance with Company policies, procedures, and ethical supply chain standards.
  • Manage supplier due diligence, compliance checks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks across the lifecycle.
  • Accountable for delivery of procurement budgets, cost performance, and value creation initiatives.
  • Operate within delegated financial authority and approval frameworks.
  • Act as key interface between supply chain, project teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Represent the Contracts and Procurement function in project and management forums.
  • Develop and implement contracting and procurement strategies based on operational plans and delivery requirements.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Forecast and manage resource requirements across supply chain functions.

Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Law, Business or Commercial discipline is preferred. Extensive knowledge of onshore and offshore contract forms and commercial agreements, including (as applicable) LOGIC Onshore/Offshore Services T&Cs, service agreements, rental and purchase agreements, charter parties, confidentiality agreements and EPCI contracts. Strong understanding of procurement and subcontracting processes across operational environments. Experience with procurement/subcontracting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP or equivalent ERP platforms) is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to produce clear, audit-ready commercial documentation. Demonstrable experience in subcontracting within an onshore/offshore operational delivery environment is essential. Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary supply chain teams. Strong commercial and contractual negotiation capability. Demonstrated end-to-end supply chain execution across procurement and subcontracting lifecycle. Highly organised with ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-project environments. Strong commitment to governance, compliance, and ethical supply chain practices. Proven ability to develop and execute subcontracting strategies aligned to project objectives, operational priorities and wider business goals. Strong capability drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts across a range of commercial models (e.g., reimbursable, lump sum, unit rate, framework/call-off), ensuring appropriate back-to-back alignment with client terms. Highly motivated and delivery-focused, demonstrating pace, ownership and resilience in meeting project schedules and commercial targets while managing competing priorities. Strong HSE leadership mindset, proactively managing risk within the subcontractor base and promoting safe ways of working. Adaptable and agile, able to respond effectively to changing client needs and business requirements.
