SENIOR CONTRACTS ENGINEER Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Contracts Engineer will manage allocated contract activities for Asset Solutions in the support of tenders and existing client contract management. Working alongside the commercial team, the Senior Contracts Engineer is required to work on their own initiative, effectively managing timelines received and dealing directly with all key business stakeholders to execute required contract documentation in line with Petrofac best practice. The Senior Contracts Engineer will be required to work with the technical and functional specialists to review, draft, negotiate and finalize contractual documentation where Petrofac are providing services to its clients. Work with the technical team to develop and align contractual responses taking into account the scope of work. Coordinate input and work with all Petrofac stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Tax, Security etc. Ensure the contractual position is approved in line with Petrofac’s Risk Review process and work with the commercial team to ensure all required approvals are obtained taking into account the scope in question. Work with the commercial and operational management team to ensure that service delivery is compliant with contractual terms. Support the subcontracts team in ensuring that risk is appropriately flowed down to the relevant subcontracts on a back-to-back basis. Advising the team on matters of contractual interpretation, identification of and management of key contractual risks in support in the resolution of contractual claims and disputes. Legal degree or similar equivalent.
