With an office currently in Daresbury, the CBI Northwest team covers the counties of Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region and Cheshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to lead the regional operations of the CBI, the UK’s leading business membership organisation, in the Northwest. The Regional Director (RD) will work to support CBI members, grow the membership base, and raise the profile of the CBI in the Northwest.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering the business plan for CBI activities in the region, motivating and coaching a small team, and ensuring the CBI Membership Proposition is delivered for Northwest-based members and branches of members from other parts of the UK with a subscription level above £15k.
The role involves collaborating with regional directors across the UK to support and engage regional and devolved national branches of Northwest members in local CBI influence, insight, and community activity. The Regional Director will represent the CBI at high-profile events, working groups, and business forums to maintain CBI's influence at a regional level.
Additionally, the role includes leading CBI engagement with key politicians, stakeholders, and other important parties in the region, with a particular focus on Mayoral devolution.
