Job Function
To undertake Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Maintenance, working within the Security and Fire team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.

To undertake Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Maintenance, working within the Security and Fire team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Principle Accountabilities
- Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Delivery of CCTV, Intruder, Access and Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreement and within agreed timescales.
- Liaison with the Service Team at all times striving to ensure that all works are delivered on time.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
- Working on a stand-by rota. Attending corrective calls efficiently.
- Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may occur during service delivery.
- Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean, well maintained and serviced as required.
- Comply with any other reasonable management instruction.
Key Performance Indicators
- Delivery of works in compliance with the clients specification and within agreed timescales.
- Quality of work – Achieving completion of monthly planned maintenance works.
- Achieve and maintain 100% H & S and job related competence.
- Maintenance of company vehicle.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A proven background and experience of Fire Alarms.
- FIA qualifications and a full understanding of BS5839 is essential.
- Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines would be a real advantage.
- Ability to program cause and effects from a laptop is essential.
- Good communication skills are required as much of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
- The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
- A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install is required.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
- A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
- A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary and we require a willingness to travel to locations across the country. Some overnight stays may be required but these will be kept to a minimum.
- Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactive.
