To assist in carrying out major/minor planned and reactive maintenance works at Distribution Centres to pre-determined standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Assist the Distribution Maintenance Technician (DMT) with any major or minor maintenance work.
- Complete the PPM and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
- Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary.
- Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
- Ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
- Although aligned to one site for the purpose of PPM completion, there may be times that the DMA will be required to attend other depots within the cluster to carry out work.
- Attend training courses as and when necessary by the company.
- Comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Work with company and ASDA colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
- Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the DMT, SMT or CFM.
- Assist City teams when requested.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and ASDA colleagues.
- Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI’s.
- Ensure that all costs are approved following the correct process.
- Maintain accurate Time Sheets as required.
