We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Dealing Analyst / Senior Trading Operations Analyst to oversee the daily activities of our trading desk. In this role, you will ensure smooth and accurate trade execution, optimise pricing strategies, monitor real-time risk, and maintain strong communication with liquidity providers and system partners.
This position requires hands-on dealing experience, deep market knowledge, and the ability to lead, mentor, and support junior team members. You will also be responsible for improving dealing procedures and supporting the business through volatile markets, system challenges, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and supervise trade execution across multiple platforms with high speed and precision.
- Manage real-time risk monitoring, exposure, and hedging activities while ensuring adherence to internal risk limits.
- Optimise pricing, spreads, and liquidity sourcing by collaborating with liquidity providers (LPs) and system vendors.
- Lead, guide, and train junior dealers to support their performance and development.
- Investigate trade discrepancies, execution delays, and technical issues; implement timely solutions.
- Perform detailed trade analysis and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
- Handle crisis situations effectively, including market volatility, liquidity events, and system outages.
- Support compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements related to the dealing function.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and strengthening risk controls.
- 3–5 years of dealing or trading operations experience in a brokerage, FinTech firm, or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of FX, CFDs, indices, commodities, and derivatives markets.
- Excellent understanding of liquidity management, risk management, and pricing mechanisms.
- Experience with MT4/MT5, liquidity bridges, hubs, and institutional execution systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure, especially during high-volatility events.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and guide junior team members.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Python or Golang is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, CySEC, ASIC, etc.).
- Flexibility to participate in rotational shifts when required.
